Wonder Cement commissions Aligarh grinding unit

Wonder Cement Ltd has taken a step towards commitment to provide the best cement with the commissioning of its state-of-the-art grinding unit at Aligarh , Uttar Pradesh, India, with an installed capacity of 2Mta. On the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Janma Kalyanak, PC Jain (Head - Grinding Unit) and Ashish Chandravat (Unit Head - Aligarh Grinding Unit) led their dedicated team in lighting the lamp and commencing operations.

Full-year sales of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province Cement advanced 3.4 per cent to SAR784m (US$209.1m) in 2022 to SAR758m in the year-ago period. UltraTech Cement Co commissions new capacity in Hirmi and Cuttack

UltraTech Cement Co has commissioned 1.30Mta of brownfield cement capacity at Hirmi, Chhattisgarh and 2.80Mta of greenfield grinding capacity at Cuttack, Odisha.   This forms part of the on-going capacity expansion. With this commissioning the company’s total cement manufacturing capacity in India now stands at 126.95Mta.

Colacem’s Canadian cement plant could face further objections. Victor Bonspille, the Grand Chief of the Mohawk Council of Kanesatake, near Oka, Québec, wants the federal and Ontario governments to reconsider plans by Colacem to build a new cement plant near L’Orignal and for more consultation. Cambodia's cement producers output 7.7Mt in 11M22

Cambodia's five cement factories produced 7.7Mt of cement in the January-November period of last year, according to a report from the Cambodian Cement Manufacturing Association (CCMA). Kampot Cement Co Ltd (SCG) was the largest producer at 2.2Mt, followed by Chip Mong Insee Cement Corp (CMIC) with 1.9Mt. Shree Cement plans new 3Mta unit in Karnataka

Shree Cement is planning to set up a cement grinding and bagging unit with a capacity of 3Mta at Doddaballapur in the Bengaluru Rural district of Karnataka.
