Iran cement output increases 5% in first four months

Iran’s cement output in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (beginning 21 March 2013) increased by five per cent compared to the same period of the previous year. Eurocement 1H output rises 5%

The cement output of Russia’s Eurocement Group increased by five per cent to 11.5Mt during January to June 2013, the company said in a statement. Cement shipments, meanwhile, rose by seven per cent during the six month period. Vietnam Jan-July 2013 output rises

Vietnam produced 32.5Mt of cement in the first seven months of this year, up 5.9 per cent from a year earlier, data from the country's General Statistics Office (GSO) has showed. During July alone, output rose by 14.3 per cent from the same month of last year to 5.1Mt, the government-run office's monthly report revealed. The GSO has revised down the country’s cement output in the first six months of this year to 27.4Mt from a previous estimate of 28.1Mt.

Cemex Tilbury reaches cement production milestone, UK

Bolivia: Fancesa increases output 18%

Bolivia’s Fábrica Nacional de Cemento SA (Fancesa) increased its production by 18 per cent, delivering an extra 11,000 bags of cement to the market. "We were with 51,000 bags of cement and 62,000 dispatched now, our projection is to reach 72,000 bags of cement per day" said Fancesa director, Luis Ayllon. In Santa Cruz, Fancesa’s main market, daily deliveries increased from 26,000 to 34,000 bags.

Ahangarancement, part of the Eurocement Group of Russia, produced 565,200t of clinker and 739,500t of cement in the first half of 2013, representing a YoY rise of 12.8 per cent and 1.4 per cent. The Spanish cement market registered a 24 per cent YoY drop in the first half of 2013 and the decline is expected to continue through the remainder of the year. In the first six months of 2013 domestic cement sales were 5,472,933t, latest data from local cement association Oficemen shows. Vietnam first-half sales update

For the first six months of the year, Vietnam sales were 22.68Mt, according to latest data from the Ministry of Construction (MoC). The amount represents 46.8 per cent of the full-year target, the MoC added. Output stood at 24.7Mt, making up 44.1 per cent of its whole year target.
