Cement shipments, meanwhile, rose by seven per cent during the six month period. The group plans to upgrade its production facilities to raise the share of dry-process production to 100 per cent by 2018 from the current 25 per cent. Vietnam Jan-July 2013 output rises30 July 2013, Published under Cement NewsVietnam produced 32.5Mt of cement in the first seven months of this year, up 5.9 per cent from a year earlier, data from the country's General Statistics Office (GSO) has showed. During July alone, output rose by 14.3 per cent from the same month of last year to 5.1Mt, the government-run office's monthly report revealed. Bolivia: Fancesa increases output 18%22 July 2013, Published under Cement NewsBolivia’s Fábrica Nacional de Cemento SA (Fancesa) increased its production by 18 per cent, delivering an extra 11,000 bags of cement to the market. "We were with 51,000 bags of cement and 62,000 dispatched now, our projection is to reach 72,000 bags of cement per day" said Fancesa director, Luis Ayllon. Vietnam first-half sales update11 July 2013, Published under Cement NewsFor the first six months of the year, Vietnam sales were 22.68Mt, according to latest data from the Ministry of Construction (MoC). The amount represents 46.8 per cent of the full-year target, the MoC added. Output stood at 24.7Mt, making up 44.1 per cent of its whole year target.
