Puerto Rican cement sales surge 39% in 201817 January 2019, Published under Cement NewsCement sales in Puerto Rico advanced by 38.9 per cent to 14.3m bags of 42.5kg, or 607,750t in 2018. The figure is the highest reported since 2014 and has been attributed mainly to the island’s reconstruction drive following Hurricane Maria.
