The Spanish cement industry has recovered 57Mt of waste from 88 sectors between 2004-19, reports the Fundación CEMA in collaboration with Institut Cerdà. CRH’s cumulative nine-month sales to the end of September reached US$22.8bn, an increase of 11 per cent YoY and ahead seven per cent on a like-for-like basis. Spanish cement demand has expanded by 10.1 per cent to 1,302,750t in October 2021, according to data from Oficemen.
