IKN commissions Matres-Tolosane clinker cooler

An IKN Pendulum Cooler ® successfully started operation early this year at Martres-Tolosane cement plant in France.   IKN commissioned a 2500tpd cooler for a new production line at the Lafarge France ( Holcim group ) plant. Designed for use of up to 85 per cent alternative fuel, IKN’s clinker cooler reflects is equipped with a most modern single grate drive – dynamic linear drive (DLD), roll crusher with three rolls at the cooler end as well as a bypass.

Spanish cement consumption grew by 8.8 per cent in April to 1,346,704t, according Oficemen (Spanish Cement Association). This figure represents the recovery of 108,632t compared to the same month last year. Titan Cement International SA has announced a 22.6 per cent YoY increase in revenue to EUR454.6m in the opening quarter of 2022.
