Good afternoon, everyone. First of all, I would like to thank all of you for staying with us in this session. I'm Tan, based in Malaysia, responsible for sales activity in the Asia region. As a start, I would like to introduce ourself as Fuller. We were before FLSmidth Cement with 140 years experience in the cement industry. And as Fuller, we continue with the same expertise, product solutions, and services available globally, but with much more dedication to the cement industry, as well as our own innovation on sustainability. Our headquarter is now based in Allentown in the US, and we have our engineering and sales offices located in Americas, EMEA, and APAC region. As a start-- Sorry.
There's a small change in our today's presentation, where we shall only be presenting the AF feeding solutions with Vista Feeders, the AF Starter Kit, the Feedex Overhead Reclaimer Box, and how our coal feeder is now able to feed as small as 60 kilos per hour of coal while maintaining its accuracy. Please welcome to our booth if you would like to know more about our Hotdiscs, FuelFlex, and our calcine clay technologies. And this is our Rotowave feeder for AF feeding. It was first released in the year of 1997, and since then we have over 390 installation worldwide. It comes with two version, Type S and Type D.
Type D is with explosion proof design and this is normally required when feeding high flammable material, for instance, the sawdust. The feeder is designed flexible that it can accept all kinds of material ranging from density as low as 0.05 tons per meter cube up to 1.5 tons per meter cube. And it can even accept material from dusty material up to material sizes to 200 mm. This is how the system looks like and if you are looking at one side of it, we have the pre-hopper. It has the flexibility to accept material, whether mechanically or pneumatically. In the pre-hopper itself, we have a motorized stirrer. It continuously homogenize the material before it goes into the feeder. Yeah.
And upon feeding, the material will be discharged to the rotary air lock, and here again you have the option to either transport it pneumatically or mechanically. The complete feeding system, you can have it nearby to the feeding point or even up to 150 meters away. So this is an example installation with pneumatic feeding. Here in this plant, they are feeding RDF, five tons of RDF to their main burner unit and material size is prepared at 40 by 40 mm. Yeah. And of course, this size is required when feeding to a main burner or satellite burner and a much bigger size can be possible when feeding to a calciner.
In this plant itself, they also have our coal feeders, each with five tons per hour capacity. Another example we have over here is also a pneumatic transport, but feeding to a satellite burner. Here, the plant is feeding also five tons per hour of RDF into the satellite burner. But the feeding system is located very near to the feeding point, around about 20 meter. But the interesting part is that the feeding system is 150 meters or 120 meters away from the storage, and here the material is directly transported by pneumatic into our hopper itself here.
And here you see both installation with a pneumatic transport and on this slide here, we are showing you the installation with a pneumatic transport. We have two feeding system here. Both of them is placed on the preheater tower. Material is being transported by a long belt conveyor from the ground. And of course, depending on the site condition, you can either have a single screw or multiple screw conveyor to transport the material into the calciner burning chamber. And of course, like mentioned earlier, we have calciner feeding here. The material size can be even up to 150 or 200 mm in 2D, for instance, for RDF.
And to start with AF quickly, simple installation, and minimal cost, we have something that we would like to introduce as the Starter Kit solution. It is a combination of a feeding system with a satellite burner. And here the system could be very much simple and all we need perhaps is a storage area and have this system located nearby. Then you could have the front-end loader that brings the material into the reception hopper, and upon weighing, then you can inject the material directly into the satellite burner. Of course, this is a very manual process. And if you would like to have something automated, a proper storage solution, then we have the Feedex Overhead Reclaimer storage.
Here, then the system is completely automated, and you have a continuous extraction of material directly into your feeding system. And it can accept all kinds of material. From coarse material to fine material, for instance, shredded tires, RDF, wood chips, and MSW. And it can accept material up to 300 mm in sizes, moisture content up to 30 tons, and output of 300 meter cubes per hour. And we have the largest bunker with a volume up to 120, 50 meter cube. So here we have the internal part of our Feedex storage box. This is the inlet. And inside the box itself, we then have continuous rotating Feedex chains that extract the material out from the storage box.
And this can be then fed continuously or automatically into your feeding system. The box itself can be designed with several compartments. And here you can see in this slide we have, I think, eight compartments. And here you can have different types of material in each compartment, and you can have continuous material being discharged out to several feeding system at the same time. Okay. So, next I will be discussing our Feedflex for our coal feeder. So Feedflex is a design that it allows our ROTO weigh feeder to feed as little as 60 kgs of coal during normal operation.
And the Feedex itself could give you a feed range from one to 100, whereby conventional feeders have only a feed range of 10 to 100. So here, if you have a feeder with a maximum feed rate of 25 tons per hour, then you can have a minimum feed of 0.25 tons per hour. And as shown in this slide here, we have several models of coal feeder. The smallest unit could give you as little as 60 kilos per hour of coal, whereby our largest unit with a 35 tons per hour capacity, you can have only as little as 400 kilos per hour. So this means for plants that is having a high AF substitution.
So maybe high AF substitution, the Feedflex would be the solution because normally during the high AF feeding, you would only require a very small amount of coal feeding. And for some reason, if the AF becomes unavailable, then you can immediately increase the feed up to the maximum or to a required temperature that you would like to achieve. And when the AF becomes available again, then you can bring down the feed rate back to its minimum amount. And this can be easily retrofitted to your existing feeder. Even for our old coal feeders that is our 20 years old coal feeder can also be retrofit to have these features available.
So, my presentation is very short today, and I've come to an end on the presentation. And if you would like to have more information on our equipment, we have our expertise at our booth. We have our Ventomatic guys, we have automation guys, we have our pyro and grinding specialists, and of course, hot mix, calcined clay technologies. Yes, please. Welcome to our booth. Thank you.
